Environmental protection is central to EPS's transformer, electrical equipment and mineral-oil services. Since 1989, we have focused on safely processing these materials while reducing waste, recovering reusable resources and maintaining documented environmental controls.

Emissions Monitoring and Furnace Operations

EPS's custom-built furnace system uses a Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS) to collect, record and report required emissions data.

Reducing Waste Through Recycling

Transformer recycling recovers metals such as copper, aluminum and steel. Oil recycling through PCBX allows reclaimed mineral oil to return to productive use rather than being discarded or incinerated when recycling is appropriate.

Protecting Customers Through Documentation

EPS describes its approach as a documented cradle-to-grave disposal process. Proprietary software tracks hazardous items from intake through final disposition, helping customers maintain accountability and reduce long-term environmental liability.

Employee Safety

EPS's existing environmental content emphasizes safety training, hazardous-material handling, spill prevention, emergency response, internal audits and routine inspections as part of its employee-protection program.
