Each year, EPS chemically treats and refines millions of gallons of transformer oil at our main facility and at other satellite facilities in the United States. Our proprietary PCBX system is a highly-specialized refining process for transformer oil. The PCBX systems have purified over 100 million gallons since their inception. They also meet all EPA specifications for recycling transformer oil. Along with the removal of PCB from the oil, the PCBX system will remove harmful contaminants such as water, gases and acids.
After the oil has completed the recycling process and attained our high-quality standards, it is sold throughout North America. EPS has one of the lowest per gallon costs to process transformer oil in the United States. As a result, we can offer some of the most competitive pricing on the market.
Our line of affordable oil products meets the needs of our diverse and growing customer base, including industrial customers, utilities, and transformer repair facilities.
Industrial customers typically purchase the Quality Blend oil that can be used in a wide variety of applications. Utilities and transformer repair facilities can purchase Trans-X oil for use in transformers and other electrical equipment.
Our Trans-X oil performs well in high voltage applications and is an excellent dielectric fluid in transformers and other electrical equipment. Trans-X oil offers significant price savings over virgin oil without sacrificing performance.
Our Quality Blend is used in a variety of different applications and is sold at a reduced cost when compared to virgin oil.
